Description

Overview

The classic variant of Glen Plaid was named for Edward VII—he wore the check-on-check pattern, mostly in black and brown wool suits, while fox-hunting, or whatever it is the Prince of Wales might do for outdoor sport.

Ours is woven by the shirting masters, Thomas Mason, with 60's single-ply compact yarns, similar to a 120's two-ply, but with a slightly smoother finish than their non-compact counterparts. We like this brown version under a navy suit for a slight departure from the typical whites and blues in most closets.
