The term "end-on-end" comes from the more literal French translation, "fil-a-fil" or "thread-to-thread." Basically, it's a broadcloth weave that alternates light and dark threads—in this case, red and white, for a very subtle heathered look. This is a very light, casual fabric whose white threads give it a softer hue than its solid counterparts. Nicely wearable in humid or summer climates, the Red Dean End-on-End is extremely breathable under a suit or jacket, or on its own.

Really nice light weight shirt and colors look exactly like in the picture!

This fabric came in the cellophane very wrinkly and looked too casual for the price. I was worried, but after the first dry cleaning it is perfect. I like the color and the feel of the end-on-end and when my wife saw it she thought it looked sharp.
It's a good purchase. Don't be alarmed by the initial appearance.

I absolutely LOVE this shirt. I usually don't opt for the shirts with the higher price tag but this shirt turned me. Looks great with jeans or with a suit. It's light enough to wear on a warm day. My wife, who thinks all my shirts look "the same" immediately complimented me on this shirt and has even asked that i wear it to a company event. Big Fan. BIG FAN.

Love the fabric, gives me great versatility to wear at work and to be more casual at happy hour afterward.

soft but crisp fabric, already a favorite of mine after wearing it 3 times. Would work well as more formal dress shirt as well as great casual configuration.
