The term "end-on-end" comes from the more literal French translation, "fil-a-fil" or "thread-to-thread." Basically, it's a broadcloth weave that alternates light and dark threads—in this case, navy and blue, for a very subtle heathered look. Nicely wearable in humid or summer climates, the Slate Blue End-on-End Broadcloth is extremely breathable under a suit or jacket, or on its own. Because it's so light, it's probably going to need a little ironing time before it goes for a spin. Looks great with any of our spread collars.

Nice deep dark color. Goes well with a casual style. Fabric feels a bit stiff and it wrinkles a bit too easily.

Joe M. (Elmwood Park, NJ)

The fabric is lovely. Unfortunately, the quality is poor. Wore it once, took it to the cleaners, and it came back with stitching coming out of the front collar. It's basically unwearable for work. I also used the same sizing as earlier shirts ordered from Ratio, yet the sleeves are markedly shorter.

Jeremy S. (Oakland, CA)

loved the color and that's it

Ratio Customer (Murrieta, CA)

Fabric is great! The shirts works with many different occasions. Dress it up with nice slacks or wear with jeans. Very versatile shirt.

Roger S. (Baton Rouge, LA)

The fabric and color of this shirt is really very sharp. It goes well with a suit or with blue jeans, and can be dressy or relaxed. It is probably my favorite shirt.
