I would give this fabric six stars, if I could! You would never know it was corduroy from any distance. Rather, it just seems to be a subtly textured shirt. This fabric is soft and not too heavy. It is a perfect, casual, three-season shirt. The corduroy is such an easy fabric to wear and requires no ironing after a wash. The color and style works with lots of pairings, making this shirt a regular go-to for me.

Big fan of this fabric. Unique take on a corduroy shirt. Corduroy pattern is subtle, which is nice. Very soft and comfortable. Goes equally well with jeans or dress pants. Love it!

I like this shirt, but it doesn't scream wear me. I think it might be the color. With that said, it is very comfortable.

Your dad probably had a corduroy shirt or two in the closet. It’s the one in the faded photos with the stiff-as-a-board wide wale cords. This is not that shirt.
For our new corduroys, we went to Japan—masters of Americana workwear fabrics—and found these beautiful, heathered corduroys. They are surprisingly soft and light (it won’t feel like a shirt jacket) with an ultra-fine wale that’s almost refined. The heathered yarns add a subtle visual texture as well.
