The Gray Rivington Check features tonal grays on a white ground. The neutral combination of grays makes this shirt easy to pair with any combination of gray suits, trousers, sweaters, or ties in your closet.
The Rivington is made in the same construction as our Madison Twill, a European-woven fine twill made from 100’s two-ply yarns--a customer favorite and our top-of-the-line dress shirt quality. At 129 GSM (that’s “grams per square meter”), it’s light enough to wear year-round, but with just enough heft and density to make it stand up to the rigors of a 12-hour day.
World-class fabric finishing and fine twill weave give it a chemical-free wrinkle resistance that adds to its long-wearing durability and clean drape, ensuring you’ll look sharp from early mornings to late nights.

Extremely boring, but that was probably your goal if you went for a grey check.

Nice shirt overall. Looks perfect after ironing.

Great fabric and a great shirt. A touch grayer in person than the pictures.

Nice and light - in terms of color and weight - but with a quality look and feel. Not the most exciting of colors and patterns, but a solid staple if you want something other than blue or a solid gray.
Ronald B. (Boston, MA)
Fabric is a little stiff and scratchy at first, but it softens up after the first wear or two. The primary color of the shirt is a very subtle, almost white gray that works nicely with the darker gray stripes that form the checks.

We’re proud to make this shirt in a facility in New Jersey that’s been making shirts continuously for nearly 60 years with a history of quality and craftsmanship. The factory is a union shop that employs several hundred skilled operators, who earn a living wage.
